Myofascial Release – This type of treatment is appropriate for anyone suffering from chronic pain, headaches, postural dysfunction, joint pain, recovery from injury or surgery, movement restrictions and more!
Thai Massage – This is a rhythmic stretching massage. It’s performed on site, meaning clothes stay on and no lotions are used. This massage is one hour long.
Muscle Fascia Cupping – This treatment is perfect for people with muscle/fascia restrictions in their bodies, and who may find the average massage doesn’t quite solve all their issues. Plastic are usually non marking, and can be used at any time during the treatment. It is not a painful treatment.
Therapeutic Massage – This technique is used for treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions. It involves a range of motion assessment, screening tests, and exercise rehabilitation. Overall it is a more specific treatment. It is also used to promote healing, decrease pain and regain range of motion after an injury or overuse syndrome. It can be helpful post surgery.
Relaxation (Swedish) Massage – This technique uses lighter, rhythmic and less “spot-on” treatment. It is good for anyone looking to de-stress or anyone that prefers non-specific work. It promotes relaxation and increases circulation.
Deep Tissue – This is a slower technique with trigger point work to help break through chronic muscle tension and aches. For those who like a deeper pressure.
Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage – for any trimester although some techniques are contra-indicated in the first trimester (lower back). A pregnancy pillow is available that allows mom to lay face down later in her pregnancy.
Relaxation Massage – This technique uses lighter, rhythmic and less “spot-on” treatment. It is good for anyone looking to de-stress or anyone that prefers non-specific work. It promotes relaxation and increases circulation.
Myo-Skeletal Alignment – Therapeutic type of treatment. It is for those who want to help improve posture and help alleviate symptoms/syndromes caused by improper posture. Currently offering upper body treatments to relieve forward head posture, head pain/neck pain, rib/upper back pain, thoracic outlet syndrome.
RAPID Adhesion Release – This is a movement based soft tissue release therapy. Focusing on adhesions in the tissue, Suzanne guides the clients to preform different ranges of motion to release these painful and ‘stuck’ areas. Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing (think yoga pants, shorts, tank tops. t-shirts) should be worn as body positions are changed several times during a session. Because of the hypersensitivity of adhesions, this treatment is painful, mostly at the end ranges of motion, although Suzanne always works within your pain tolerance. This therapy is great for those in pain, chronic pain, have tried many other therapies with that have not helped, those with decreased ranges of motion.
